Blackford Analysis seeks a software engineer to join the team developing our first product, a solution that improves radiologist throughput by 10%, with the potential to save $1.2bn in the USA alone.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes programming, and has a deep and varied knowledge of multiple platforms, languages and concepts. The essential skills are an excellent grounding in C/C++ and windows, but experience of .net, java and CUDA would also be helpful. Most of all we need you to understand the customer’s needs, and be able to write software that addresses them.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has worked in teams before – perhaps someone who has taken an active part in a big OSS project, or has provided solutions to industry. The company is incorporated, and we hope to begin day to day operations within a month. We’d be looking at a start date that is as soon as possible after that, and paying a salary on the level of a good graduate job, enhanced by stock options.
